Congratulations to all rowers and volunteers for making the 2012 James River Regatta such a success!

The crew team of James River High School is made up of over 70 athletes from all four classes and includes both male and female rowers, novice and varsity. Spring competitions include regattas in Norfolk, Occaquan, Mathews, and the James River Regatta hosted at our "home port" at Robious Landing. 2011 marked the third year JRHS Crew sent boats to compete in the Nationals.

The Fall "Learn to Row" program is for students new to rowing and runs from September to November. The October Head of the James race is held at Robious Landing. The sport is not funded by school and is entirely parent/volunteer driven.
