Welcome to James River Rowers!
The crew team of James River High School is made up of over 60 athletes from all four classes and includes both male and female rowers. Spring competitions include regattas at Lake Whitehurst in Norfolk, Occaquan, and the James River Regatta hosted at our "home port" at Robious Landing. The Fall "Learn to Row" program is for students new to rowing and runs from September to November. The sport is not funded by school and is parent/volunteer driven.
