Welcome to JRHS Crew!
The crew team of James River High School is made up of over 70 athletes from all four classes and includes both male and female rowers, novice and varsity. Spring competitions include regattas in Norfolk, Occaquan, Mathews, and the James River Regatta hosted at our "home port" at Robious Landing. The Fall "Learn to Row" program is for students new to rowing and runs from September to November. The October Head of the James race is held at Robious Landing. The sport is not funded by school and is entirely parent/volunteer driven.

Important: Students considering participating in JRHS CREW either Fall or Spring are required to complete the James River High School Learn to Row Program. Participation in other training programs does not exempt you.
